About Club

ROTARY CLUB OF PUNE PHOENIX WAS CHARTERED ON 26TH SEPTEMBER 2019 AT THE HANDS OF D. G. Rtn. RAVI DHOTRE. THE CLUB NO. 90481          

RTN. MANASI KHURJEKAR WAS THE CHARTERED PRESIDENT AND RTN. HARSHADA BHANAGE - DESHPANDE WAS THE CHARTERED SECRETARY. RTN. VIKAS TOPALE FROM RCP DECCAN GYMKHANA WAS THE GSR AND RCP DECCAN GYMKHANA WAS THE SPONSOR OR PARENT CLUB. INITIALLY THE CLUB WAS COMMENCED WITH 22  CHARTERED MEMBERS.

Out of these 22 Chartered members 7 are ex-Rotarians and the rest were totally new. But everyone got nicely assimilated and started enjoying Rotary. Unfortunately within six months of Chartering the Pandemic COVID 19 commenced and physical meetings were stopped and online meetings commenced. But that didn't affect the morale of members and everyone enjoyed and participated in online meetings and programs. Even membership increased to 39 by the end of 2020-2021. Due to after effects of COVID some members could not continue and by the end of 2021-2022 it is 28. But we are positive that our club will grow and now as the pandemic has almost gone or is diluted we will undertake good and bigger projects.
